My Trading Place Terms and Conditions
- Pictures are generic representations – the actual prod may vary as per description
- Where the customer is exporting the product/s the customer must be in possession of relevant export permits. The Trading Place will only issue a commercial invoice of the sale.
- Prices are subject to fluctuation, valid whilst stocks last and items are sold on first come first served basis
- Sales T&C’s apply as indicated in invoice / SPA (bulk contract sales)
- Bulk buyers shall collect orders from the indicated The Trading Place location; unless otherwise stipulated
- Where the bulk buyer opts for The Trading Place to deliver the ordered product, that delivery costs shall be quoted separately (indicated in final invoice)
- Delivery = SA locations only (mytradingplace.co.za & mydigimall.co.za apply)
- Products advertised and sold on The Trading Place and its online platforms are sourced from external suppliers. The Trading Place is not in any way shape or form responsible for the product quality, efficacy and advertised product / service promise and/or the contrary – any and all complaints must be directed to and handled by the supplier, service provider and/or manufacturer of the product
- Consumers purchase and use all products at their own risk
- Onus to ensure compliance when purchasing items that have legal age restrictions rests with the customer
- Onus to ensure compliance / vigilance when purchasing and utilising items that have relevant allergens / food warnings rests with the customer
- The Trading Place is not responsible for any damage, harm, injury or death suffered by consumers during the use and/or consumption of products purchased on its online platforms especially (but not limited to) where such use and/or consumption was in contradiction to product warnings, labels, instructions
- Production Labels and Definitions (as per FOODSTUFFS, COSMETICS AND DISINFECTANTS ACT 54 OF 1972):
- BEST BEFORE (BB): “Means the date which signifies the end of the period under any stated storage conditions during which the product will remain fully marketable and will retain any specific qualities for which tacit or express claims have been made. However, beyond the date the food may still be perfectly satisfactory.” *
- USE BY: “Means the date which signifies the end of the estimated period under the stated storage conditions, after which the product probably will not have the quality attributes normally expected by consumers and after which date the food should not be regarded as marketable.” *
- SELL-BY: “Means the last date of offer for sale to the consumer after which there remains a reasonable storage period at home.” *
